NMTH－The Story of Painting from Life

This exhibition centers on the concept of "Painting from Life," showcasing artist Chen Cheng-po’s dedication to capturing Taiwan’s landscapes on site. It also highlights the precious artifacts secretly preserved by his wife, Chang Chieh, after the 228 Incident, presenting their intertwined life stories across time. Through recreating historical scenes in a three-dimensional space, visitors can experience the genuine vitality of the couple and appreciate the landscapes of their era, gaining a deeper understanding of the connection between individual lives and Taiwan’s history.
