Single-elimination bracket

How to use

Enter 4–16 teams, preview a single-elimination bracket and adjust the slots. First-round byes advance automatically. The host chooses winners until a champion is found. Confirm the impact before changing a winner; copy or print the current bracket.

Start in three steps

1. Enter one team per line, with 1–40 characters per name. Fixed team numbers distinguish duplicate names. Preview slots, use the up/down buttons to adjust them, then start the tournament.
2. Slots are locked after starting. Choose a winner only when both opponents are ready. Byes are not played matches; the tournament has one fewer played match than teams. Changing a winner requires confirmation and clears only dependent later results.
3. Copy or print the bracket at any time, including undecided matches and the pending champion. Restarting requires confirmation, clears results and keeps the plain team-name draft.

Storage and limitations

Teams, slots and winners stay in page memory only. Leaving or refreshing clears them, with no server upload or sync. Copy or print first. Slot order and byes do not guarantee competitive fairness.
