Countdown timer
When time is up, the fun begins.
How to use
Count down games, discussions and events using presets or a custom number of seconds. Pause, resume, reset and optionally play a sound. Refreshing or changing pages calculates the time left from the original deadline.
Start in three steps
- Choose 1, 3 or 5 minutes, or enter an integer from 1 to 86,400 seconds. Choose whether to play a sound.
- Select Start countdown, then pause or resume as needed. Reset before changing the duration of a running or paused timer.
- When time is up, go again or select Reset timer to prepare a new round.
Storage and limitations
Timer settings and progress are saved, including the remaining time while paused. No sound plays after leaving the tool; browser playback restrictions may also affect sounds. Content is saved in this browser and does not sync between devices. Clearing website data or storage restrictions may erase it. Keep a separate copy of anything you need long term.
