Double list comparison: Check scheduled and actual missing, shared and additional items: purpose and instructions

Paste the scheduled list A and the actual list B, ignore the order and the number of repetitions, and list the non-duplicate items only in A, both parties and only in B. First remove the leading and trailing blanks and blank lines, and then accurately compare the entire line of text; you can copy or download the complete UTF-8 TXT report in a single group. The content will only be processed on this browser page and will not be saved or transmitted.

How to use

  1. Paste the scheduled and actual lists respectively, with one item per line, and one side can be left blank. There is a limit of 100,000 Unicode code points and 5,000 lines per column, including blank lines and any blank lines resulting from the final line break.
  2. Check the three sets of results and remove blank lines and duplicate statistics in each column; only in A and both parties, the order of first appearance of A is followed, and only in B, the order of first appearance of B is followed.
  3. Copy the single set of lists you need, or copy the complete report, download the TXT, and keep the rules, statistics and three sets of items.

Frequently asked questions

Are case, whitespace, and similar names treated as the same item?
Only remove the leading and trailing blanks and empty lines of each line. Uppercase and lowercase, all half-widths, leading zeros, internal whitespace, and different Unicode representations are all distinguished exactly, without fuzzy comparisons or Unicode normalization. Commas and quotes are treated as normal text and CSV is not parsed.
How is it different from list compilation or text version differences?
Double list comparison uses a set to compare whether items exist, ignoring the order and number of repetitions; list sorting processes blank lines and repeated items in a single list, and text version differences retain the order and compare line by line. The item quantity difference is not calculated here.
What happens when limits are exceeded, one side is blank, or refreshingd?
Based on the text in the input box, the browser will first break the line uniformly. If any column exceeds the limit, all results will be suspended and the original text will be retained, without truncated results. Leave one side blank for comparison; if there are no valid items on both sides, it cannot be exported. The site switching tool retains this content and clears it after refreshing.
