Compute SHA-256 digests of local files, copying or exporting the complete list of original file names, sizes and checksums.
How to use
Add the files for which digests are to be calculated.
Start calculation and wait for the batch to complete or cancel if necessary.
Copy or export the TXT after checking the list and compare the summary when delivering.
Formats and limits
Maximum of 50 files, totaling 100 MiB; file names and contents are not sent to the server.
SHA-256 only assists in checking content, not source, signatures, or viruses.
Output
TXT list with filename, byte size and 64-bit hexadecimal SHA-256.
Frequently asked questions
Does the same verification code mean the source is trustworthy?
Doesn't mean. The digest is used to verify the file contents, and the trusted source must still be confirmed by you; this is not a digital signature or malware check.
The file name and content are only processed in your browser and are not transmitted to the server. The original file will not be overwritten. Please export the required results before leaving the tool.
