Remove Audio from VideoUser Guide
Re-encode the entire native clip to WebM without the audio track; it is the audio track from the output file that is removed, not just the player mute.
How to use
Import the clip and confirm the full duration.
Starts sound removal, keeping pagination visible until processing is complete.
Check the screen and silence results during trial broadcast, and then export to WebM.
Formats and limits
The source must be MP4 or WebM that can be decoded by current browsers, and the maximum size of a single file is 100 MiB.
The entire source segment can be up to 120 seconds, and over-limit videos will not be automatically truncated.
Reencoding limited to 2,073,600 pixels, 1,920 px per side, output up to 30 fps, 80 MiB. Please use a new version of desktop Chrome/Edge that supports the necessary native APIs.
Real-time re-encoding takes about as long as playback. Moving the tab to the background, canceling, or leaving the tool discards unfinished results.
Output
WebM copy with VP8 video only, no audio tracks.
