Sprite Sheet PlayerUser Guide
Import PNG/JPG/BMP sprite sheets locally and play them in sequence using the shared cell dimensions confirmed for the first sheet. Estimate or adjust the grid, reorder sheets, set the last frame, step through frames, and change FPS. Files are not uploaded.
How to use
Import one or more regular sprite sheets. Check the estimated grid, adjust Slice X/Y manually, and confirm the settings.
Reorder sheets and set the last valid frame of each. Sheets may have different grid counts, but their dimensions must be evenly divisible by the shared cell dimensions.
Play at the default 24 FPS, or adjust speed, loop, frame-by-frame, zoom and transparent preview background.
Formats and limits
Accepts static PNG, JPG and uncompressed 24/32-bit BMP; 20 MiB per file, maximum 100 images/100 MiB, total 32 million pixels, 8,192 px per side.
Slice X/Y must be 1–1,024. The animation is limited to 10,000 frames and an integer FPS of 1–120. Non-divisible dimensions are rejected; transparent frames are not automatically padded, resized, or trimmed.
Grid estimates use transparent separators and may be incorrect; manual confirmation is required. Playback pauses in background tabs, and actual speed depends on your device.
Output
Local animation preview. GIF/video export is not available. Source proportions and transparency are preserved.
Frequently asked questions
Do multiple atlases have to have the same number of horizontal and vertical grids?
No. The first sheet defines the shared cell width and height in pixels. Each sheet uses its own dimensions to calculate the grid count. A sheet that cannot be divided evenly stops sequential playback and is identified by file name.
Will transparent cells be automatically skipped?
No. Fully transparent cells still count as frames. Each sheet can use a continuous range from its first frame to its selected last valid frame. The preview background does not alter source pixels.
