Separate Video & AudioUser Guide

Simultaneously re-encode local video into silent WebM video and independent WebM/Opus audio. Trial playback and export will be provided only if both are successful.

How to use

  1. Import native video with a single enabled audio track.
  2. Start audio and video separation, keep the paging visible, and wait for the two results to be completed.
  3. Try playing the silent video and independent audio separately, and then export them separately.

Formats and limits

  • The source must be MP4 or WebM that can be decoded by current browsers, and the maximum size of a single file is 100 MiB.
  • Sources are 0.25 to 120 seconds, 1080p, require a single browser to enable audio tracks; please use a newer version of desktop Chrome/Edge that supports the necessary APIs.
  • Maximum 80 MiB for video, 16 MiB for audio, and 100 MiB total. If either copy fails or is canceled, both copies will become invalid.
  • Real-time re-encoding takes about as long as playback. Moving the tab to the background, canceling, or leaving the tool discards unfinished results.

Output

VP8-only silent WebM and Opus-only audio WebM; not MP3, WAV, or lossless stream extraction.
