Select the start and end time from the local short video, re-encode the scene and the browser-enabled audio track into WebM, and test it first before exporting.

How to use

  1. Import the video and check the duration.
  2. Set the start and end points and select a clip from 0.25 to 120 seconds.
  3. Keep the pagination visible to complete the re-encoding, and then export the sound and images for trial playback.

Formats and limits

  • The source must be MP4 or WebM that can be decoded by current browsers, and the maximum size of a single file is 100 MiB.
  • Source maximum 300 seconds; export clips 0.25 to 120 seconds.
  • Reencoding limited to 2,073,600 pixels, 1,920 px per side, output up to 30 fps, 80 MiB. Please use a new version of desktop Chrome/Edge that supports the necessary native APIs.
  • Real-time re-encoding takes about as long as playback. Moving the tab to the background, canceling, or leaving the tool discards unfinished results.
