A4 address label formatter: print on plain paper, crop and save as PDF

A4 address label formatter: print on plain paper, crop and save as PDF: purpose and instructions

Paste three columns of information: recipient, postal code, and address, and preview the A4 address label with 20 cells per page. You can specify the starting grid and check for gaps and text overflow. Print on ordinary A4 paper and cut along the lines, or save as PDF through the browser; no login required, the received data will only be processed in the memory of this page.

How to use

  1. Copy the recipient, zip code, and address columns from the spreadsheet and paste them separated by Tabs; you can also load 23 fictitious examples first. Check the number and order of entries, and correct omissions or column errors according to the prompts.
  2. Specify cells 1–20 to be printed on the first page; they are arranged from left to right and top to bottom. The first cells are left blank. Continued pages start from the first cell. Check long addresses and overflow prompts on all pages and correct them before printing.
  3. First print the 100% scale calibration page and measure the ruler with a ruler. For formal output, select A4 straight, 100%/actual size, turn off the first and last pages and automatically fit the page, then print or save as PDF; cut along the cutting line after printing on plain paper.

Frequently asked questions

Which label paper do I need? How big is each square?
The first version is printed directly on ordinary A4 paper (210 × 297 mm), with 10 mm margin on all sides, 2 columns × 10 columns, a total of 20 cells, each cell is 95 × 27.7 mm, and the text padding is 3 mm. This is a fixed layout that is cut after printing. It does not claim to be compatible with commercially available pre-cut label paper, nor does it provide custom paper sizes.
Just because the PDF looks aligned, does that mean the paper will be printed correctly?
No. Browser scaling, print boundaries, font substitutions, printer unprintable areas, and paper feed offsets can all change results. Physical printing alignment has not been verified, and an alignment page must be printed and measured manually; PDF preview cannot replace actual acceptance.
automatically correct addresses, remove duplicates, or ship for me?
No. The order of data and duplicate recipients are retained, and only missing and text overflow prompts are displayed. Postal area codes, address authenticity or deliverability are not verified, postal API is not connected, and shipments are not executed. If the content is too long, please correct it yourself. Cropped text cannot be used instead of the complete address.
Are names and addresses saved or transmitted?
Receipt data will only be retained in the memory of this page and will not be automatically saved, uploaded or transmitted. You can clear the input and preview with one click, and clear them after refreshing or closing the page; saved PDFs, clipboards, and system print queues are managed by you.
