Fixed-Length Text Wrapping User Guide

Wrap long lines at a specified Unicode grapheme count, preserving whitespace, emoji, combining characters and existing paragraph breaks.

How to use

  1. Paste the text to wrap.
  2. Set the maximum graphemes per line, then generate wrapped text.
  3. Review the result, then copy or download TXT.

Formats and limits

  • Up to 100,000 UTF-16 code units and 10,000 lines.
  • Each line supports 1–1,000 graphemes. Existing whitespace is preserved and line endings are normalized to LF.
  • Splits by grapheme count, not words or display width. Font metrics, tab width and layout are not simulated.

Output

A UTF-8 TXT copy with inserted line breaks; the source stays in the input field.

Frequently asked questions

Will emoji or combining characters be split?
