JSON Pointer Value Extractor User Guide

Query one JSON document with a JSON Pointer, retaining number spelling, string escapes and internal whitespace without reconstructing the source.

How to use

  1. Paste one JSON document and a plain-string Pointer; an empty path selects the root value.
  2. Run the query and check the type and complete original fragment.
  3. Copy the result; query again after changing either input.

Formats and limits

  • JSON is limited to 1 MiB and 50 levels; documents containing duplicate decoded object keys are rejected.
  • Only RFC 6901 plain strings are supported; no percent decoding, URI fragments, JSONPath or data modification.
  • Data is processed only in local memory, never uploaded, and cleared on leaving or reload.

Output

The type and copyable original fragment of one JSON value.
